Canby Mayor Melody Thompson has filed to run for the office of county clerk.
Canby mayor Melody Thompson announced Thursday that she has filed to run for Clackamas County Clerk. Thompson, who has managed several city government offices in records management, elections, budget and customer service for more than 17 years, said she brings a unique blend of skills and experience to the elected County Clerk position.
