Junior Krissy Peterson led the Canby girls cross country team on Thursday, finishing eighth at 22 minutes, 1.33 seconds at the annual Canby Invitational at Molalla River State Park. The Cougars finished third out of seven teams.
With an eye toward building to the district meet, Krissy Peterson is hopeful to see the Canby girls cross country team competing for a state berth.
