A student in Kelly Turcotte's reading class at Lee Elementary School uses an iPod while keeping a reading log. Turcotte said students are more motivated to read and reading fluency has improved since using the technology in the classroom.
Canby School District has been in the spotlight for its focus on technology in the classroom in recent years and Joe Morelock, director of technology, outlined the district technology plan at last Thursday’s school board meeting.
